Ed Schwartz brings a confluence of IT and business experience to the table in actively supervising the delivery of Micro-Point’s varied services.
Like a conductor, Ed can play all the parts as he orchestrates his staff in providing networking management, managed hosting, website development and marketing, as well as accounting systems.
Under Ed’s vision and vigor, Micro-Point has grown from a one-man shop in 1979 to a resource hundreds of companies have come to rely on over the years.
Ed remains ahead of the curve in such areas as e-commerce and e-support systems. As a valued business consultant, he develops profitable new systems that increase sales and automate a wide range of customer service functions.
A consummate programmer, Ed was hand-picked to develop the PC software for CitiBank’s global communications system, which paralleled CompuServe. In addition, he was chosen to develop innovative relational database software to help manage part of the worldwide trading system for what is now a division of ConAgra.
Ed’s emphasizes the wisdom of being proactive. He is the originator of Micro-Point ProActiv/IT: a series of proactive technology innovations – such as Micro-Point’s Monitor/Responder a nd Internet BackUp/ CheckUp services – that keep networking systems functioning properly and safeguard client data.
Ed lives in Westchester and is married with four children.
