However, Ed could see that Microsoft was making a better, Windows-based networking product. So once again, Ed changed direction and moved toward using Microsoft's network products as the core for his networking technology. Today's Micro-Point provides a dazzling array of services including networking, accounting, business consulting, networking and web development to over 100 companies and thousands of users. Micro-Point also now offers open-source software such as Linux, and content management systems, including Joomla and Drupal. Dana survived 9/11 in Tower 2 of the Word Trade Center, earning her stripes in disaster recovery. Everything else is child's play for her. Karen Cunniffe, CPAController/Accounting Software SpecialistKaren controls the financial dynamics of running MicroPoint. From a client services perspective, she handles Sage Accounting System installations, software training, and month-end write-ups. Her credentials? Karen is a NY State CPA, Sage Business Partner, and Certified Trainer for Sage MAS90/200B and BusinessWorks Accounting Systems. Michael FlorioSenior DeveloperMichael specializes in data-driven and e-commerce websites. Over the years, he has built a wide variety of large- and small-scale Internet and intranet applications. Michael possesses a long-time background in client-side programming using C/C++, and has developed software for many successful businesses. Don KaufmanDirector of Internet MarketingGoogle AdWords Professional Don brings more than 20 years of marketing communications experience to each MicroPoint project involving communication planning and creative development. His media specialties include website development, Internet advertising (he's our certified Google AdWords Professional) and direct marketing. Kelsey RonesAdministrative AssistantKelsey keeps the company's support operations running efficiently,phone calls routed, and handles just about every other office duty imaginable. She is the key liaison between our clients and field technicians. Kelsey has made a tremendous impact on Micro-Point's customer service due to her dedication and efficiency. A Graduate of Westchester Community College, Kelsey has been with the company since September of 2007 and has seen MicroPoint's staff increase by 35 percent in less than two years. Kelsey has a passion for fitness; she loves going to the gym. Michael Solomon, MCSA, MCPNetwork EngineerMichael comes to MicroPoint with over 10 years of experience in the IT field. His credentials include an MCP and MCSA for Windows 2003. Michael's wide ranging talents have been on display for many business organizations, from small offices to large corporate environments. His experience includes building and maintaining LAN/WAN networks. Additionally, he has handled large-scale Active Directory migrations (from Novell, NT 4), Exchange 2003 implementations, and deployment of enterprise level networks from the ground up. Michael has also worked with numerous firewall technologies, SAN systems, RAID technology, and many different types of backup and antivirus software. Sheldon TaylorComputer Network EngineerSheldon is a multi-faceted IT technician. He has years of experience and education in designing and deploying Windows networks, installing structured premise cabling, network relocation, and security systems for small- to medium-sized businesses. His combination of training and experience makes his a valued asset for any MicroPoint client. Mike ZollnerComputer Network EngineerMike is an experienced, accomplished IT technician with one degree in LAN administration and a second one in media. His skill set spans computer hardware networking and diagnostics, with an in-depth knowledge of Windows XP. Mike can be depended on to handle most any task he faces with a confidence that comes from competence. Doug HoldgraferLinux Network TechnicianDoug has had considerable opportunity to apply his technical prowess on developing and maintaining Linux networks. His specialty area is Debian-based Linux distributions. Doug's main focus in Linux is setting up hosting environments, however he can also set up authentication and file storage servers. |
